PRIVACY STATEMENT

1. Guarantee of lawful and secure processing of personal data

Every customer can rely on the fair and lawful processing of their personal data. This means that personal data are processed solely for the legitimate purposes described below.
Dolci Angeli BV furthermore guarantees that such processing is always adequate, relevant and not excessive. We will never retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary. However, we will retain your data for as long as your account remains active or for as long as we require your personal data in order to provide a particular service to you.

Dolci Angeli BV has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the secure processing of personal data. These measures are appropriate to the nature of the personal data and proportionate to the potential severity of the risks involved. The risk of accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to personal data is reduced to a minimum. Unfortunately, no risk can ever be completely eliminated. In the event of unauthorised access to the IT systems of Dolci Angeli BV, we will immediately take all reasonable measures to limit any damage and/or data theft as much as possible.

2. Right to object

Every customer has the right to object to the processing of their personal data. This right of objection applies only where there are justified and compelling reasons. The exceptions set out in Article 5, sections (b) and (c) of the Belgian Act on the Protection of Privacy also apply to this right.

At any time, free of charge and without justification, customers may object to the processing of their personal data where such data were obtained for direct marketing purposes. You also have the right to request the removal of any personal data that are incomplete, irrelevant, unlawfully recorded, disclosed or retained beyond the permitted period, or to request that such data no longer be used, regardless of the purpose of processing.

This right may be exercised at any time, free of charge and without further justification, by submitting a signed written request sent by registered mail to Dolci Angeli BV. Dolci Angeli BV undertakes to take appropriate action within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the request.

3. Right of access

Any customer who can prove their identity has the right to access all information concerning the processing of their personal data by Dolci Angeli BV, as provided for under the Belgian Act on the Protection of Privacy. This includes information regarding the purposes of the processing, the types of data processed and the categories of recipients to whom the data are disclosed.

This privacy statement serves as a first indication. This right may be exercised by submitting a signed written request sent by registered mail to Dolci Angeli BV. Dolci Angeli BV undertakes to take appropriate action within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the request.

4. Right to rectification

Dolci Angeli BV attaches great importance to the collection of accurate personal data. Incorrect or incomplete personal data may therefore always be corrected or removed. As we cannot always be aware of any inaccuracies, omissions or changes in your personal data, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify us of any errors or omissions and to make the necessary corrections to their registered data.

If you are unable to make these corrections yourself, please contact us by submitting a signed written request sent by registered mail. Dolci Angeli BV will take the necessary measures within fifteen (15) working days by correcting, updating or deleting the personal data concerned. As deletion primarily relates to visibility, it is possible that deleted personal data may be temporarily retained.
